Shaykh ‘Uthaymin: Accustom Yourself to Harsh Conditions

“…and do not indulge in luxury and comfort…”
Shaykh Muhammad bin ‘Uthaymin said:
“This is a piece of advice that should be given to both the student of knowledge and other than the student of knowledge. This is because indulging in these things contradicts the guidance of the Prophet, as he used to forbid excessive luxury, and would sometimes enjoin others to be barefoot. The person who becomes accustomed to comfort will find it difficult to face various situations, as he will face things that do not correspond to the luxury and comfort that he is used to.
Let us take an example, and it is the example we mentioned of the hadith enjoining occasionally being barefoot. Some of the people do not leave their feet bare at times. They always have to have socks, khuffs, or shoes, and you never find them walking much. Such a man, were you to suggest to him that he walk 500 meters without anything protecting his feet, you would find this to be extremely hard on him. His feet might even start bleeding from the harshness of the ground! However, if he makes himself accustomed to harsh conditions and avoids constant comfort, you would find that he would be blessed with much good.
If the body is not accustomed to such conditions, it will not have immunity to pain. So, you would find such a person feeling pain from anything, while if he possessed immunity, he would pay it no mind. This is why you find the hands of laborers to be much stronger and firmer than the hands of students of knowledge. There is nothing to deter or prevent a laborer from doing anything since his hands have become accustomed to these conditions. This is to the point that if you touch the hands of a laborer, it is as if you are touching a rock because of the roughness and harshness, and if he were to wrap his fingers around your hand, it would hurt a lot. This is due to his long hours handling mud and bricks, and because he has accustomed himself to this.
So, when a person accustoms himself to comfort and luxury, there is no doubt that this will harm him greatly…”

Regarding those who argue against the actions of the Mujaahideen w/ anger

And those who object [to the MujÄhidÅ«n's actions] do not pursue it with a specific concern. The TughÄt of Äl Sa’ūd, AkhzÄhumullÄh, tasted an instance similar to [the Algeria bombings] before, and in it the MujÄhidÅ«n said, and continue to say, everything they have [already said], with full confidence and justice and impartiality, and they did not confront the men who researched the opposition with [screaming] crowds, but rather [they confronted them] with a knowledge-based dispute and turning to the evidence and returning to source that eliminates all dispute: “And in whatsoever you differ, the decision thereof is with Allah †- [Ash-ShurÄ, 10].
And our problem is always that when we discuss sensitive issues like these, we delve and roam into the generalities, and we do not come descend into the field of discussion face to face, and we do not confront the details and the particulars with what is similar to it. But instead we leave the thinking to the reader so he may think and guess and hypothesize and come up with a conclusion that has no basis and is not established upon [firm] pillars.]

At-Taa’ifah al-Mansoorah (The Victorious Group) is the Mujaahideen
Posted by revolution in : JihÄd, Knowledge , comments closedToday, we find some who say that the reference in the ahadeeth to at-Taa’ifah al-Mansoorah refers to groups who are not necessarily fighting on the battlefield.
We have seen some da’wah groups use a hadeeth regarding at-Taa’ifah al-Mansoorah and attribute it to their work. This is utter hypocrisy since there is more than one hadeeth regarding this group.
This hadeeth from Salamah bin Nufail is one which they shy away from:
روى الإمام النسائي وغيره بسند صØÙŠØ Ø¹Ù† سلمة بن Ù†Ùيل الكندي (من قبيلة كندة) رضي الله عنه قال: كنت جالساً، Ùقال رجل: يا رسول الله؛ أذال الناس الخيل، ووضعوا السلاØØŒ وقالوا: لا جهاد، قد وضعت الØرب أوزارها، Ùأقبل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بوجهه وقال: (كذبوا، الآن جاء دور القتال، ولا يزال من أمتي أمَّةٌ يقاتلون على الØÙ‚ØŒ ويزيغ الله لهم قلوب أقوام، ويرزقهم منهم Øتى تقوم الساعة، ÙˆØتى يأتي وعد الله، والخيل معقود ÙÙŠ نواصيها الخير إلى يوم القيامة، وإنه يوØÙ‰ إليّ أني مقبوض غير ملَبَّث، وأنتم تتبعونني Ø£Ùناداً، يضرب بعضكم رقاب بعض، وعقر دار المؤمنين بالشام).
“O Allah’s Messenger, horses are being humiliated, and weapons are being laid down. And the people are claiming there is no more Jihad and war has ended.”
The Messenger of Allah replied: “They are lying! Fighting has just started. And there will always continue to be a group from my nation fighting for the Truth, dominant over the people. Allah will deviate some peoples’ hearts to fight them. So Allah will provide sustenance to them from their enemies until Allah’s Promise comes while they are in this state. Indeed the Believers’ stronghold is the land of Shaam; and good is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Resurrection Day.†[Reported by an-Nasaa'i]
How then can at-Taa’ifah al-Mansoorah be referred to a group other than the Mujaahideen?

That’s too bad.
This is one sign of Islaam taking over the world, slowly but surely. Alhamdullilaah.
The greater problem though is that we don’t have an Islaamic State. We ask Allah to bless our Ummah with a Khilaafah soon so that we can practice our Deen correctly, give Da’wah properly, bring mankind into the light from darkness and destroy all the oppressors of the world.

He served loyally at the terrorist leader’s side in the build up to the attacks on America and is wanted by the FBI and CIA. Nasser al Bahri speaks to Tim Butcher.
Osama bin Laden is a workaholic who will always be one step ahead of Western intelligence, his former bodyguard has told The Daily Telegraph.
Many have claimed intimate knowledge of bin Laden over the years. But in the case of Nasser al Bahri, a bearded and slightly portly 35-year-old taxi driver who lives in Yemen, the claim is not tainted by exaggeration.
For four years Bahri fought in Afghanistan with al-Qa’eda and served as bodyguard to a man he remembers affectionately as “the Sheikh”.
His experience makes Bahri of intense interest to the FBI and CIA, but they have so far failed to persuade the Yemeni authorities to deport him for questioning.
“The thing I remember most about the Sheikh is that he was very, very active,” said Bahri.
“From the start of the day before dawn when he began his prayers to late at night he was always doing something, never resting. We were not living in a comfortable environment but that did not stop him from all the time working, thinking and planning.
“After prayers came administration and after administration came meetings with distinguished visitors, sometimes secret visitors, but all day he never stopped.”

After the cartoons, its re-release, and the fitna movie, now we are seeing the effects of that on the Danish Society. A young Muslim teenager was kicked and beaten to death by a bunch of low-life Kuffaar (may Allah kill them) and they did it because of what was injected into them by the cartoonists and the movie.
Is this what they call freedom of speech? So much freedom that it literally brainwashes the public into attacking a young Muslim boy because of his faith?
What was his crime except his faith?
May Allah protect the Muslims there and destroy Denmark utterly and punish the Kaafiroon living there. Ameen.
Our sincere advice to those Muslims living in Denmark is to arm themselves for the purpose of protection. If you are attacked, then you need to defend yourself properly.
Denmark, you have made a very, very big mistake. Only Allah knows when you will regret it.
By the way, if you are not able to comment, it is because we have disabled comments for some time since 99% of the comments are coming from Denmark and they are full of bloodthirsty Kaafir animals who have pure hatred in their hearts for Allah and His Messenger, sallallahu ‘alayhi wassallam.
We ask Allah to humiliate every single one of these Kuffaar and that He terrorizes them at the time of death.
