Yusuf al-Qaradawi; the silly old man March 15, 2008

Posted by revolution in : Egypt, Funnies, News , trackback

Yusuf al-Qaradawi, may Allah’s curse be upon him, passed a fatwa in 2001 saying that the Muslims should join the American Army to fight “in the way of good” against the Mujaahideen. He twisted so many aayaat of Qur’aan that it felt horrible just reading his words. Inshaa’Allaah, we will discuss that fatwa later. He still hasn’t retracted; his status as of now is a confused Murtad.

Now he recently came out with a new statement:

Egyptian cleric urges bin Laden to surrender

Cairo, 13 March (AKI) - The Egyptian cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who is also a preacher on the Arab satellite television network Al Jazeera, has called on al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden to surrender.

“I ask Osama bin Laden to surrender and to hand himself over to an international tribunal in order to respond to the charge that he ordered the attacks of September 11,” said al-Qaradawi in an interview with the Arab newspaper al-Sharq al-Awsat.

According to the well-known Muslim scholar, it is still not established “in a definitive way by the American secret services in their reports,” of bin Laden’s responsibility in the attacks that occurred in New York and Washington in 2001.

For this reason, he calls on bin Laden to surrender and allow himself to be judged, with the hope that he will find himeself in front of a fair court that will be able to also judge other al-Qaeda terrorists.

“I would also like to tell the American president George W. Bush that his country committed the same errors as the terrorists when it attacked Afghanistan with the excuse of hunting [bin Laden] and instead killed children and innocent people,” said al-Qaradawi.

He said that terrorism cannot be fought with a war on a vast scale,”but by treating the causes of terrorism because even if Osama bin Laden is killed, thousands of others like him will come forward if the problems are not resolved.”

According to al-Qaradawi jihadi groups are wrong to use only violence because in Islam, “the ends do not justify the means.”

What a silly old man. He’s one of those who try to please everyone. He wants to please the Murj’iah and the “Islamists.” We ask Allah to save the Ummah from the evils of this man.

How are you my bro?

The best thing is he is despised by the Mujahideen AND the kuffar. That’s what he gets in this world for his two-faced petty antics. May Allah ta aala guide him.

Assalam Aleikum

While still on the issue of Qaradhawi, it is unfortunate that one of the most detailed and comprehensively reserched work on Fiqh Al-Zakah in English has been translated from his work.If it wasn’t that he was among the government scholars his work would be very benefitial to the muslims.

My request to ‘Revolution’ and ‘Sayyidon’ is guide me on any literature in English on Zakah especially relating to ‘its applicability Paper Money’. There are benefitial and insightful works on ‘Return to the Dinar Gold’ by the likes of Imran hussein and Umar Vadellio of the Murabitun group.Unfortunately, with the sufi leanings of these scholars, it becomes difficult for us the laymen to know when their ideas are sufist.

What we want to be guided on is ‘What knowledge is available from the Muwahidun on the best way to manage our businesses & affairs and still comply with Zakah the way the Prophet (S.A.W) and his rightly guided companions (R.A) did in the light of elimination of Dirham and Dinar as mediums of exchange (money)?’Convertability between paper money and Gold ceased to exist from 1970!!

Just the way,Alhamdullilahi, we have benefited extensively from ‘Revolution’ and ’sayyidon’ on aspects of Tawheed and Jihad and knowledge in general, I would appreciate if some light will be shed on the issue of Zakah. As one observer put it, it is unfortunate that the sufi’s have made the biggest stride in practically addressing the issue of Gold Dinar and Riba.I however positive that the Muwahidun should be having something better on the issue.

I am also eager to see ‘Revolution’s’ compilation of Mujaddid Juhaiman. I am still wondering whether my Hajj is Valid when i delegate the responsibility of slaughtering to a Murtad regime!!!

BarakAllahu Feekum

To Abu Zayd,

Walaikum Assalam,

As for books on Zakat, I’ll have to look on my shelf and let you know later inshaa’Allaah.

I don’t see anything wrong with Shaykh Imran Hosein’s book even if he’s a Sufi. Not all Sufi’s are bad. As long as they don’t commit Shirk or Kufr or Bid’ah, and have great interest in Tasawwuf, that is perfectly fine. Those type of Sufi’s (which are rare) are excellent for learning Tasawwuf from as long as they don’t say things like, “The Sufi way is the only way to Jannah.” Shaykh Imran, alhamdullilah, is more intelligent than that; he knows the way to Jannah depends on following Qur’aan and Sunnah.

Post your question on brother Sayyid’s blog about the Zakat; I’m sure he’ll have something to direct you to inshaa’Allaah.

As for the compilation, it will be out very soon inshaa’Allaah.

And don’t worry about the Hajj :) inshaa’Allaah, it’s accepted (depending on intention). Mabrook.

To Abu Zubair al afghani -

Jazakullah Khair. The replies of many on the forum look quiet shocked. If I missed it, he didn’t mention where he saw this… so how can we verify?

In addition, he would have to make public tawbah for that fatwa since he is a Scholar. That’s what we are waiting for.

I hope he’s sincere in that du’aa and wasn’t making it in order to have the Mujaahideen start listening to him.

Keep us posted if you find anything else.

نسأل الله له الهدايه او النهايه

Wallahu ‘Alam
