Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri talks about the 3 Shuhada’ of Indonesia calling them “steadfast heroes.” He said “they knew the price of their action and they paid it with satisfaction.” Talking about their long imprisonment, he said, “They faced a long journey of torture, imprisonment and oppression. They received the verdict joyfully.”
In addition, al-Zawahiri also talked about the treachery of the Saudi Kingdom. He said they were “working with the US and Israel to undermine jihadi resistance in Palestine, Afghanistan and Iraq.” He described a Saudi-sponsored U.N. conference on religious tolerance last month as a “ridiculous farce.”

This is a powerful release from As-Sahab Media. It is an interview with Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri on many of the recent events of this year. This release is actually a few months old since it was completed before ‘Eid al-Fitr and as we know, ‘Eid al-Adha will be next week, In Sha’ Allah. The Shaykh covers many important topics as usual and shows some surprising clips that many of us don’t catch in the media and documentaries that are made by Westerners. The theme of the release is focused around al-Azhar’s prestigious history of the Scholars it has produced and their unwavering faith in confronting the enemies of Islam. It surely is something to think about; if al-Azhar were to be like it was in the past - free from the Government - a part of the current American-led Crusade would have been easily dismantled since it is America who has its governmental puppets control the ‘Ulema and if the ‘Ulema show amazing sacrifices in their actions for the Ummah - and are willing to go through harm just to uplift the Ummah’s condition - then this would undoubtedly lead to a massive support for the Global Resistance against the Crusade.
It is amazing how the ‘Ulema have a lot of control and influence in the Ummah… only if many of them decide to use it for the greater good.

Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri touches upon various issues surrounding the newly elected President, Obama, namely the defeat in ‘Iraq, America’s stubborness in Afghanistan, and the growing global Jihadi renaissance that Obama has to face. Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri hit the note well on Obama’s reality, exposing him to his supporters from within the Muslim Community:
You represent the direct opposite of honorable black Americans like Malik al-Shabazz, or Malcolm X (may Allah have mercy on him). You were born to a Muslim father, but you chose to stand in the ranks of the enemies of the Muslims, and pray the prayer of the Jews, although you claim to be Christian, in order to climb the rungs of leadership in America. And so you promised to back Israel, and you threatened to strike the tribal regions in Pakistan, and to send thousands more troops to Afghanistan, in order for the crimes of the American Crusade in it to continue.
Why can’t the Muslims seem to understand this simple point?
Dr. Ayman also, rightly-so, called Obama, Rice and Colin Powell as “house negroes” and showed to them how Malcolm X’s understanding of the house slavery mentality applies to them.

This is of course an English release. As usual, it refutes the claims of the pathetic claimants that Adam Gadahn was killed in an air strike some months back. In this release, the brother focuses on Pakistan post-Musharraf as well as the fake image that the Pakistani Government is showing that they are “protecting” their borders from their ally, the United States.
Here are some notable excerpts from the release,
“It’s time for you to put aside tribal, ethnic and territorial differences and petty worldly disputes not just for now but forever and unite to restore the glories of your forefathers and hasten, Allah willing, the defeat of the Zionist-crusader enemy and the establishment of the Islamic state, the Ummah, the so eagerly anticipated.”
He also said,
“The enemies of Islam are facing a crushing defeat, which is beginning to manifest itself in the extending crisis their economy is experiencing. The crisis, whose primary cause, in addition to the abortive and unsustainable crusades they are waging in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq, is they are turning their backs on Allah’s revealed laws, which forbid interest-bearing transactions, exploitation, greed and and injustice in all its forms and demand the worship of Allah alone to the exclusion of all false gods, including money and power.”

Al Qaeda’s annual September 11 propaganda video surfaced today, delayed eight days by a concerted US effort to block it.
The tape showed no new pictures or statements from Osama bin Laden, although an al Qaeda figure was interviewed saying bin Laden was in “good health.”
Al Qaeda also showed a video it said was captured from a US bounty hunter, Keith “Jack” Idema, as he appeared to threaten to kill an Afghani citizen during an interrogation.
Idema was later convicted by an Afghan court and sentenced to prison there. He maintained at his trial that he was secretly working for US intelligence in the hunt for bin Laden, an assertion flatly denied by US officials.
